Western Balkans Summit
Italy will host the IV Western Balkans Summit in Trieste, Italy on July 12. The annual summit will focus on European integration of Western Balkans states. Heads of government as well as finance and foreign ministers from EU member states and Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia are expected to attend, as well as from the EU and international organisations. Issues to be discussed include the Balkan market, regional cooperation, infrastructure and energy, migration, as well as security issues.
At the summit, the Italian Presidency organizes a Business Forum on the 12nd of July in Trieste to promote economic relations between Italy and the Western Balkan countries and to foster the knowledge of the main projects and financial instruments in the region. The forum - under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development - will be managed by ICE in collaboration with Confindustria and will be the occasion for a concrete exchange of knowledge and experience between institutions and economic operators.
Aiscat Servizi will participate at the Forum and will take part in B2B meetings with representatives from Balkan institutions and companies.
